Bricks Restaurant & Sports Bar

Very cool bar. The staff was super nice. Drinks reasonably priced. They had an interesting mix of Hispanic music downstairs and food, metal music upstairs and gothic dance music outside in the back, the night I was there. In the middle of an industrial area so it's pretty easy to park and there's surprisingly not a bunch of homeless people wandering around. There upstairs part where the metal show was conveniently had a smoking patio of it's own and a bathroom, so you didn't have to go downstairs to do either of those things. Definitely would go to another show there.

I went there on a Sat. Night to see a punk rock show. Show was upstairs. Dancing to 80's/goth/punk music downstairs which looked pretty popular! Stage was big. Sound was pretty good. Nice lighting. Reasonable bar prices with plenty of domestic + import beer prices + typical liquor choices. Cool security dude. My only complaint is that on warm nights, the upstairs can get pretty warm. Don't know if they're too cheap to turn on A/C or if it was just inadequate. Located in a low-key industrial area which is cool so street parking was easy enough to find. Definitely has that underground dive feel to the place. I'd go back again.
