Came in on a Saturday night for dinner with a group of 4. We were early for our reservation but they were flexible and able to seat us with no problem. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is an extensive wine list with many interesting offerings. We tried a variety of dishes and everything was very delicious. Highlights were the pate and the duck entree. My only criticism is the caviar bump is small and not worth the $12.
I’ll start by saying I love French food. So I had high hopes and was so excited to try this spot. Three friends recommended and I made a reservations and voila. Rolled up and found parking and that was a win. Walked in and spot at the bar while I waited for my friend. Menu is the perfect size and wine list is great. It was tough to decide and went with a Syrah by the glass and was spot on. Cute tall water glasses. Sat down and seriously wanted everything on the menu. It was hard to decide and everything we ate was perfection. Culinary team delivered to the table. Right amount of checking in. And nice white wine recommendation for the mussels. It feels super good here and I will definitely be back. Ironically one of the people who recommended it was also there - so it’s a neighborhood spot and will be a destination for me! And their bread is out of this world. Mussels with a classic white wine broth and lots of garlic. Burrata and Squash Salad is seriously a perfect dish. Fall in a bowl
Brian and the whole team at Brasserie Bristol were simply phenomenal—which is saying something given the food they have to compete against. I had the wontons, leeks, and duck with a side of fries. UNREAL. Classy, yet unpretentious, Brasserie Brixtom is a must visit. Can’t wait to come back.
