Brannan Manor Restaurant & Spirits

Enjoyed the food and the service was great. Located in the heart of Old Town Sac. Had the smoked brisket sandwich (yum!) and my husband had the El Chapo burger which he enjoyed but watch out, it was extremely hot and we can handle spicy food. ???? the reason I’m giving 4 stars is because of pricing. Seems to be a little overpriced for bar food ($20 for a burger?) I guess that’s what you get in Old Town. Water is not free. Bottle is your only option and it’s $2. Wanted something non alcoholic and was charged $7 for a strawberry lemonade. Overall, we enjoyed it because the food was good and plentiful and our service was great.

We came here because the wait at the popular chain restaurant was 45 minutes and we had a toddler. It was great that we were seated immediately and the area we were in had children’s TV playing (but no annoying audio). Service was friendly and prompt. The food was disappointing. Burgers were okay. Mozzarella stick appetizers and chicken strips that my son ordered were also decent. I had the sourdough chicken sandwich. It was so soggy on the bottom I had to eat half of it with a knife and fork. My husband ordered the steak salad ($25) and asked for medium to medium rare. It was well done and not tender at all. Food was served in plastic trays with paper liners. If you want water it comes in a plastic bottle. Less worried about paying for water than the massive waste of plastic. As in other reviews I read, I get that the prime location makes their overhead high. But if you’re going to charge $150 (plus tip cuz we’re not jerks) for four meals plus one kids meal and one appetizer, your qu

One star off due to the disappointment that this restaurant charges for water... One star off due to the long wait to be seated at a table and served with food... But I guess "that" comes with heavy customer traffic to any restaurant... Another disappointment would be some of the overcharged meals in the menu that this restaurant offers, but I guess that's probably due to the location which is Old Sac of course... Other than that... The food is okay, well the Southwest Philly Cheese Steak I ordered was okay, just missing something to me... The customer service is great and friendly!
