We were in ATL for four days for a convention. We are at several places, but Brake Pad was good enough to come back a second time. Both times the food was delicious, hot, cooked-to-order, and satisfying. Several of us enjoyed The Staple cheeseburger. Josh was our waiter both times, and he did not disappoint. When others joined us with several food allergy issues, he was eager to help along with the kitchen. We recommended to several who were at the convention. We also REALLY enjoyed the outside sitting area to the left; a backyard-type area. It was perfect for after-dinner fellowship. We were never rushed. Dietary restrictions: They were willing to accommodate three of us (out of -10) with several food, allergies or intolerances – gluten, dairy, soy, green, egg. They were able to come up with a salad, sliced avocado, and a 100% beef burger patty cooked on a clean section of the grill.
Great little local place for burgers. The brisket nachos app was fantastic. I had the standard burger and it was cooked perfectly. I recommend the tots with the burger. My son had the brisket tacos and polished them off. Only problem was the nachos came out after my burger. Either way, food was still great.
My coworkers and I needed somewhere to eat near our hotel and decided to go with this restaurant. Glad we did! We started with the brisket nachos as an appetizer which were absolutely delicious. Just wish the portion was a bit larger. We all got burgers and they were delicious. Only complaint is the meat was cooked slightly over what we requested with each our orders. No big deal considering the taste and quality. The staff was friendly and service quick. My favorite part is that you can have either fries or tots with the burgers. The atmosphere is definitely warm and causal. Seat yourself and a staff member will be with you shortly. Overall, recommend if you're in the area and looking for a place to eat. Parking: Has a few parking spots in the front of the building but expect to have to look for parking elsewhere.
