Great little eat-diner with counter service and super friendly employees. Pizza is easy quickly and came out hot and crispy… drinks available from the cooler, no alcohol. Very well air-conditioned and a great place to take a breather from the DC summer heat! :)
I'm not quite as ready to gush about the pizza as some of the other reviews on here - it's certainly not bad, but it could at least use more cheese. But as far as lunch options go in this area, Bozzelli's definitely keeps me coming back. The prices are great (especially if you use Grubhub), they're pretty quick, the staff are always nice, and as a fun bonus I love that they carry the Sprecher's soda brand.
Good place, polite staff. Ordered the Bizzaro (vegan) pizza, it was tasty but the dough was a bit raw (bought the left over 2 slices home and airfryed it…yum) the vegan cheese I felt was a bit doughy again (but vegan cheese can be tricky) plus the vegan meat had a distinct taste of some herb and VWG. If the base was a bit more cooked I would’ve loved it even more. Do try it especially for it’s vegan options.
