Bonzu Japanese Steakhouse

I ordered about $90 worth of sushi. I’m not from around here but would’ve loved to have fresh tasting and smelling sushi. First, when I walked in, I stepped in sticky liquid at the front entrance. There was a “watch your step” sign up. But for how long? Second, the wait wasn’t too bad for the food. An additional 30 minutes then expected. The pictures before is what I received but unsure why the sushi tasted so bland. Is that a thing? The lightly fried tofu came apart. Ended up being just the tofu I ate.

I’d give this place no stars if possible. Went here with a friend. I got a water, he got a fountain drink. They bought me tea, smh. They then bought us the beers we asked for in a timely manner. Then our food took forever. We actually didn’t get all of our food before we walked out. Yt people who came in 30-40 minutes after us got their whole meals while we barely even got half of ours. When they did bring my sushi, there was the biggest piece of hair in it, as if they wanted us to know our kind wasn’t welcome. The waitress that looked like us said her supervisor, who was of the Asian descent, was pulling orders as she wanted to. And that let me know everything I needed. Terrible establishment.

We've eaten here three times. First time was great! Delicious sushi and hibachi. Good price. No complaints. The next time we waited for over 20 minutes for any food to arrive. Restaurant wasn't even half full. Waiter came and told us the sushi hadn't even been started yet. Waited another 30 minutes before we had to leave. Restaurant was nice enough to comp the salad and soup. Decided to give the place one more chance. Again, the restaurant wasn't even half full. We waited for 10 minutes, but a server never came to our table even to take our drink orders! Two workers were lounging by the front desk though. Needless to say, we just walked out. Hope they get some wait staff, because it's not bad food.
