Bonsai Thai & Sushi

Don't hate it but not impressed. Very basic menu you can get anywhere. Visiting from Chicago maybe I'm expecting more based on reviews but to start service was very lax and left much room for more. Just myself and I ordered well for one person. Shrimps in a blanket which come fried and a sauce right what can go wrong here? Not much but wasn't sure what the bed of cabbage and carrots was for?? Ordered chicken pad Thai again safe. Not great, was more like a BBQ sauce that just really didn't sit well. And then tried one of their favorite rolls. Forgot the name but have NEVER had a warm roll and was not impressed.The salmon was cooked! Leaving the cream cheese warm and soft for a not so good texture. Over all I'm sure all was edible but I just wasn't feeling it. I had to ask for napkins, they didn't fill water up and was just kinda missing that waiter customer engagement. Ready to order?. Came in for lunch. Our waiter Paul, was extremely nice. I ordered a ninja roll. OMG best sushi I’ve had in years. I also had their Tom Kha soup. You need to try this. Wow! Overall I had a great experience.

Headed here after a morning biking at Shark Valley and found ourselves really hungry. Wow.... this place really satisfied all our needs. Great selection of sushi and an absolutely wonderful staff and atmosphere.
