Bonchon Midlothian

Over the weekend a friend and I went to Bon Chon Midlothian. I ordered something off the menu that I was not familiar with (bibimbap) with the garlic chicken. My meal came out first and I dug around in it to look at the different ingredients but I didn't see any chicken. When the server brought my meal to the table, I asked where the chicken would be, on top or mixed in with the ingredients (I honestly had no idea what to look for haha). The server, who was very kind and prompt, said she thought on top and went to the kitchen to double check that the chicken was served with my meal. Enter Dorothy, Cook Manager. From the moment she arrived at our table, she escalated something that was really a nonissue with her belligerent attitude. Her entire demeanor was confrontational, accusatory, and unprofessional. I repeated to her that all I wanted to know was where the chicken in the dish was and she very rudely pointed into the middle of my bowl and stated 'it was there but you must've ate it

The food is still top notch bit the shift in management is noticeable. The server we had began off well but the sweet tea we ordered felt like sugar water. The service after we finished eating was non-existent. They would pass by several times with bringing us the bill we asked for. The server was also left to run a entire dining floor alone close to dinner time. I recommend take-out but do not dine in until management straightens up.

Food was good. I do recommend this spot but what bothered me was the portion of the Rice. It’s like a baby portion, ridiculous . The rice portion really got me .
