We were looking for a good hamburger and totally forgot about the Boll Weevil in Lakeside... It was excellent! Our server was great and I know she was super busy....food was excellent. We are old enough and lucky enough to have gone to the Cotton Patch and Boll Weevil for many moons. Thx again!
Hidden gem. This unassuming bar/burger lounge is a spectacular throwback that needs to be sustained and celebrated. It's easy to forget what American food is, when chain restaurants are constantly offering "unique" specialty burgers, excluding toppings and sides, and raising prices. 2 for $35 deal includes killer choices including my personal favorites, mozzarella sticks, double cheeseburgers, fries, and onion rings. Truly satisfying, in a very casual atmosphere.
Just had a great lunch with great service. All waitresses I encounter are courteous and friendly. The restaurant was packed today with a few large parties. The wait was a little longer than normal but our server kept us updated. When our food was delivered, it was hot and cooked to perfection! Love this local place! Can't say enough about Jana, Janice, Bridget and Rainy!
