Bo Loong Chinese Restaurant

I have been going to Bo Loong for many years now The food is usually consistent, I had ordered to go a lo mein dish and an order of barbecued spareribs. The ribs were very meaty, The lo mein dish was very oily, the taste was not what I remembered it to be so make sure that you get the condiments that will make your food taste the way you remembered it. It’s a little on the expensive side I thought. I did not have to wait long for my food. I’ll definitely go back again. Everyone was friendly. The menu has changed there’s a lot of Chinese Writing on it with a very small print of English which I think should be a little bit bigger so you can see what you’re actually ordering. I had to take a second glance I almost couldn’t tell that there was English on that menu. You need to wear a mask to enter the restaurant, the parking is the same as it always has been. $$

We haven’t been to Bo Loong in a while, but one day with big crowds at the other place, we have it a go. Menu isn’t as extensive as the other place, and not quite as refined in some dishes, but their crispy fried noodles with tofu was terrific, and I really killed their hot sauce, it had a bit of heat to it! The moment I walked in the door and saw the dirty windows inside and out and dusty glass ware I wanted to leave, but we were meeting friends so thought I would give it a go. The food was good, but the service did not make us feel comfortable. It was hard to enjoy the food with rude server. We had to ask multiple times for certain things. We got room tempt tap water. We eventually asked for bottle water. Server puts her arm in front of my friends face to reach for dishes as my friend was trying to eat. My husband decided he didn't want to use the chop sticks and the server says in her language you should have not open them. My friend was able to interpret some. We were very patient and tried to make the best of it. We eventually got a server that was nice he spoke some English and made the rest of our visit a little better. Seems like their goal is to Feed them Get their money and get them Out. Sorry but will never go back there again.
