Our only problem here was the delays in service. No hostess came to seat us. I eventually went to the bar for help. Then, no waiter came to our table. He waited the 3 tables beside us, but never made it to us. So again, I went to the bar. Barkeeper was super helpful, and an excellent waiter. I forget his name. Sorry. The other issue wasn't their fault. They were out of several entrée items because of the holiday crowd the day before. That happens, and we understand. The food was plentiful, and tasted good. It wasn't spectacular. But it was pretty good. Good enough that we will eat there again.
We googled places to eat in Jax and came up with Blue Fish. The reviews didn't lie! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere so sweet, and the service was great. I told Cassidy it was my birthday and she made the whole meal experience so special, especially the Oreo cheesecake for my birthday dessert! Highly recommend any of the specials. We will most definitely be back!
Everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is somewhere in between fine-dining and family friendly neighborhood bar. The portion size is a bit on the smaller side, but you’re paying for the quality so it’s understandable. Perfect for a date night.
