What a great experience! Justin is an amazing server. Positive attitude and very social. The food and music was great. Such a fantastic vibe!
I ordered a bacon avocado burger, requesting it to be well done, but unfortunately, it was served to me pink. Although the food was decent, the undercooked burger was a letdown. I am grateful that I didn't order chicken, as it may have been a risk for salmonella. The lighting in the restaurant was too dim to read the menu without assistance, and we had to resort to using our phones. I tried their in-house red IPA but didn't enjoy it as it tasted like cheap beer. However, my dining companions enjoyed their meals. Our server, Chad, was friendly and accommodating, which was a relief after having a less-than-friendly server earlier. Despite the burger mishap, I would still consider returning to the restaurant. Vegetarian options: My wife is a vegetarian, and to our delight, the restaurant offered a meatless menu that she thoroughly enjoyed.
Went to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday as well as a friend of hers who's birthday is a few days apart but is a med student and doesn't have much free time. Our waiter kindly asks what we are celebrating and we tell him and graciously offers to bring not 1 but 2 pizookies for them. A different waiter comes (bald, tan dude with a mole under his eye) to bring us the pizookies with a stale face and makes a comment saying "Crazy that you BOTH have a birthday on the same day" not joking but treating us as if we are making it up to get a free pizookie that we didn't even really ask for. Very unprofessional to treat your customers in that manner. Pity our waiter (slim Asian gentleman) was really nice and want to extend our gratitude to him. He is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. We even forgot the calamari was mainly breading but bad service overshadows the rest.
