Bistro Provenance

We went opening night, the food was good and the service was friendly. They had a few opening night bugs, but overall a great experience! The price was fair. You can tell they are taking themselves very seriously and are trying to put you as a diner in France. I will be going back for the good food!

People were making noises because their food was so good. I thought that was weird until I ate my food and did the same thing. In all seriousness, we were incredibly impressed. I haven’t had a dinner experience like that in Provo. The French onion soup was perfection, salmon was a perfect balance of flavors and textures- tender and crispy. The bone marrow had complex flavors I couldn’t even identify but it was amazing. Even the truffle butter for the bread was unreal. Our neighbor next to us said the steak was one of the best he’s ever ordered in his life. Then.. the crème brûlée. Oh my gosh. I am out of words. Heaven. We will be back for every special occasion.

I am so excited to have this new restaurant in Provo! The steak and chicken were tender and delicious. The service was excellent. The ambience was lovely. Hooray for access to authentic French cuisine.
