I stumbled upon this little gem, and now chine here every time I'm in town! I love the 60's, 70's and 80's music, as well as all the movie and lifestyle memorabilia on the walls; brings back memories of a better time. The staff are very friendly and attentive; your coffee cup is always full! The food is very good, and reasonably priced. This place is a nice break from the stress of this world, as it is today. A nice place for people of all ages. I highly recommend Billy J's for a nice, relaxed meal!
We went for dinner, it was very nice. We had a great server, and the food came fast. We order Billy J's grilled chicken salad everything was very fresh and delicious, we also ordered country fried steak and mash potatoes, it was perfect.
I ordered a Philly Steak sandwich, I like my Sandwich with raw onions and green peppers I specifically told the waitress to make sure they are raw. Got my order and they were grilled I was willing to eat it because it took a while to get my order. When I opened the sandwich there was no green pepper or cheese so I asked to speak to the Manager so I explained to him what happened and he responded by saying "well I recommend ordering that way " I couldn't believe his answer so inappropriate. I don't understand what's it to him how I want my sandwich. I'm paying for someone to make my food and if there are specifically to an order then the customer should be able to have those specifics met. The Manager definitely needs to be trained on customer satisfaction and service.
