Bill's Cafe

Between average to subpar brunch spot. Hits the spot but only marginally more delicious than ihop, denny's or similar places. Food was under seasoned overall. Service was stellar though and it remains consistent & reliable.

I was visiting the San Jose area, my son-inlaw recommend and I was surprised the best fluffy pancakes, I ordered strawberry pancakes, ???? the way they made was by placing the fruit in the pancake batter, so so delicious. We had good service very welcoming sorry forgot her name, my son-in-law requested extra extra crispy hash brown potatoes she highly recommended deep fried hash brown, when breakfast was brought to our table we were all amazed by the deep fried hash brown potatoes, so so good very crispy crunchy they were perfect. Definitely not impressed by the food and service at Bill's. I've eaten here a few times and each time the food didn't come out hot. I had to stop my server each time to ask for refills of my beverage. My server only came to my table to ask for the order and payment. There is better food out there for the same cost. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is clean. Finding a parking spot is difficult in the neighborhood.
