BIG WOK mongolian bar-b-q

This is one of the best Mongolian BBQ restaurants in Southern California. It is very clean and the wait staff is top notch. Now for the best part. It is all you can eat and you can make your own meal by mixing and matching anything you want. Then you hand your custom made meal to the chef and he cooks it up right in front of you. Try it once and you will be hooked.

This place is brand new. The staff is very nice and accommodating, especially compared to their other location. The lines have always been short and the restaurant clean. They offer shrimp and squid for dinner as well as self serve white and fried rice. There's also a little sause bar separate from the one used to flavor your pre-cooked ingredients. Those are things their LA location don't offer, but their food is essentially the same and is as good as you can make it. It's fun to try different things each touch and visit and the price is worth what you get - depending on how much you eat. Getting it to go, less so. Definitely geared more towards sitting in. There is only one cooking surface so be prepared for various flavor surprises depending on what's cooking with or before yours. Also they tend to cook more on the El denté so ask if you would like it cooked longer. One if my favorite places to eat!

All you can eat Mongolian is one of my favorite things. They overcooked our sesame bread but everything else was exactly what I wanted. They don't have the guide that tells you what combinations of sauce to use for different flavors but I always freestyle it anyways. Bring cash to tip the cooks they do a great job and cook everything to perfection. Great variety and delicious food.
