Pastrami was just ok. The pastrami itself was well cooked but a bit too salty for my taste. There was this added pickled peppers chutney that ruined the sandwich. All parties agreed that the place was just 3 stars and overpriced since the sandwiches we're just ok. I had really high expectations and they were not met.
"15 - 20 minutes" turned into 25+ minutes of me waiting for my meal, only for them to suddenly realize it wasn't being prepared yet. Even if I wasn't pressed for time on my lunch break, I would have still asked for a refund anyways. Shame. I was really excited to try.
The most relaxed little sandwich spot in the neighborhood. Enjoy that there is people always arriving and leaving here. Seeing local kids come here is good to see as that you know that you are in a safe area. This is also a great spot of contract workers and hard working types as that the sandwiches are hearty. Great ingredients. Very clean. Everyone was very nice too.
