Absolutely Delicious! I do not get out often but, if hungry there’s always 2 words I look for when browsing around an area I may be in. BBQ or Soul and this restaurant had both. I just left Mama’s and couldn’t wait to tell everyone else it is a must place to try. The food was so pretty I even had to take a picture lol. It was incredible, moist, delicious, full of flavor and beyond juicy. I had the fried bbq chicken (yep you heard me right fried bbq chicken) and my co worker and dear friend had the ribs so we also sampled each others. Hands down amazing and I can’t wait to come back again. After sending my son a picture of my lunch he demanded that I also grab him a dinner. :)

Big Mama’s Hustle and Soul Restaurant is truly an outstanding restaurant. I had the pleasure of trying their cheeseburger, fries, and a side of macaroni and cheese today, and I was incredibly impressed! The cheeseburger patties were extremely well cooked, flavorful and filling, and included fresh cut lettuce, onion, tomato and cheese. Moreover, my dish included a healthy portion of tasty fries, and all of this delicious food for an incredibly fair price of around $17.00! My server, Christina, was extremely funny, polite, friendly, and efficient with orders, and so was Ms. Chantrelle. Reading about the culinarily legacy that this family has had in the African-American community where I grew up gave me a welcoming feeling that will absolutely give me even more reason to go back for more great food! Ordered Haddock dinners with yams, cornbread, Mac and cheese and collard greens. Food was good!! (Except the greens) Good portions. Customer service is lacking. Not friendly. Not greeted with a simple hello. You don’t feel appreciated patronizing this local business.
