Big D BBQ - Mansfield

Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was great! I got the brisket grilled cheese, which came with 2 sides - went with the mac & cheese and potatoes.

First time trying this place. The potatoes were extremely tough on the outside, stale, and barely even warm. The brisket on top was good, it had a nice flavor, great texture and a pretty good amount. Skimmed on the toppings (sour cream and cheese). I couldn't even get much of the potato out of the skin. The bbq sauce had a really strong flavor of vinegar and was pretty thin. Things like that are personal taste(not mine). I could not eat the potato. The brisket was the only thing that was good. So maybe just the brisket/meats are worth going for. I'm not sure about anything else as that is all we tried.

1st time here. Let me say that I was welcomed as if they've known me for years. They gave a sample of the turkey, and lord oh lord. Definitely will be ordering for Thanksgiving. The brisket is moist and full of flavor. Their okra is definitely something you should try. I can go on, but my food is getting cold. Come in, you won't regret it
