Big City Tavern

Pretty good place for some food and a cold beer. I was a little disappointed at the limited menu for weekend brunch, but my chicken sandwich was good and the fries also were good. With so many new restaurants popping up in the area though, it’s hard to say this was great. They’ve got serious competition. Might have to step it up a notch.

We visited on 1/23/2022 and I must say the service from our waiter was awful. The host was pleasant and sat us down quickly and was warm. We ordered our drinks and we wanted to get flights of beer and cocktails. Our waiter told us that he was going to choose our beer flights because they did not have many to select from even though they had plenty listed on their menu. We understood because some items may have been seasonal and didn’t question him. He comes back and this is how our flight of beers was served. He chose Stella, Bud Light, and two other craft beers. We were kind of shocked that those were his choices (the Bud light mainly) and that the presentation was awful, and that these were not 4oz pours. We own these glasses at home and they are a little over 5oz for reference. Had we known that we would be served like this I would have just ordered a pint of beer. We had asked the bartender how many beers they had on tap after this was served to us and there were 7 choices. We also
