Big Bear Asian Buffet

I love to give five stars and when we had a less than favorable time our first visit we decided to visit again to see if it was an off night and unfortunately it seems to just be the location. I do have to start with the staff is very friendly and eager to help when seating you and keeping your drinks filled. The buffet is smaller so there are fewer selections but they keep them fresh and filled. The issues we had were with the tight table seating we believe possibly trying to maximize occupancy but making it difficult to just sit at your table comfortably when anyone else was seated at a table behind you. As well as the sushi bar and hibachi grill. The sushi was very limited and they seem to have a had time keeping it out. While flavors were great alot of it was the same so there also was not much variety in the limited selection they did offer. Good food at a great price with friendly service. We had a little bit of a wait to get in, but it was wwll worth it. We would definitely come here again.

One of my favorite buffets! Their sushi always tastes good, and the food is always hot! One thing that I think makes this particular buffet different from most is that they charge an additional $6.99 per pound of wasted food. I like this because I feel that it keeps people from getting too much, and creates an incentive not to waste food. Personally, I think ALL buffets should incorporate a waste fee.
