Big 10 Tavern

Since the new owners have taken over, this has turned into the worst place for so many reasons. To begin this, we wouldn't have been here tonight except that Overtimes was packed and we just wanted a quick beer and take out food (got the take home meal from Amore's) Initially, we came back to give it a try to see if things were going to start improving. Total change of staff - lousy service after that. Food quality - not good Management - non-existent, that we can tell. TVs ???? - sports bar - 19 TVs and at least 9 not on or working the hour we were here. This place is going down the tubes quickly and it is sad. RIP, the real BIG 10 TAVERN. Good luck on your future, fake big 10 tavern.

Yesterday afternoon we called to reserve a table for 8 and were told they don’t take reservations. On arrival there was one gentleman sitting at one of the large tables. The other large table had a RESERVED sign on it! We spoke to an incredibly rude man who told us that the table was reserved for “regulars”. Several in our group go there often (4 of us 2 nights before). He then asked us if WE had been coming there for 12 years. He couldn’t have cared less that he let 8 “regulars” walk out, never to return. This was customer service at its worse!

We have been coming to this tavern for years and I have written. Many good reviews. Unfortunately I need to write any extremely bad review for this restaurant now. The service and the food has been going down for months and now they have hit BOTTOM Today I ordered chicken Alfredo , which I have had many times before. This time it was horrendous. It was nothing but pasta chicken and OIL. When I called to complain CHRIS was baligerant Accusing me, the customer of being rude! I returned the pasta to CHRIS and his comment was “yum this will be my dinner tonight” WHAT? No refund was given, no apology, no offer to remake the order! I am sorry to see this neighborhood tavern to fall this low. CHRIS should not be in charge here if this is his attitude????
