Michael is a very hospitable owner and the food there is great. Aside from the main menu there are constant specials and pop-ups for variety. A great new addition for Algiers at a location accessible to many.
Tried the Shrimp & Grits along with the Pecan Cobbler. A few whole shrimp were on top for decoration, but the rest were all peeled. Had an unusual taste for shrimp and grits that was good. Pecan cobbler wasn't as syrupy as a pecan pie and a nice change. Definitely a place to check out for their daily specials.
Good food, good people, good art. Try it all, including the seafood gumbo, ceviche, crawfish Mac and cheese. Tasty tacos also. Also check out the music and comedy nights!
