This is great. I’ve never had a complaint about this place, although the staff could be a bit more enthusiastic, they’re very good at their job. They take your order, cook UPFRONT, and you eat! If you want to go here for birthdays, they make excellent desserts. I really enjoy coming here with family! I don’t recommend going here alone. This is a family place, or a two-people type thing. I really enjoy coming here.

First time there. Made a reservation for multi family group & asked for confirmation that we could all be at one table. That was confirmed. Upon early arrival was asked numerous times how many people were in our party; must have answered well over 5 times. Were seated at two tables next to each other. Not what I requested. Other than the food was yummy. Our chef's were hilarious & our waiter was super attentive. Small snafu with splitting checks but that was resolved easily. Would probably choose to go elsewhere if given the opportunity as the initial impression was not what you expect especially when you are driving 30 minutes away from home to spend $$ for a good meal.

Came in for dinner celebrating. When asked by waitress if we wanted any appetizers, I asked about sushi. Being told it's busy and backed up I didn't order any. However, guest next to us had. Within a couple minutes they had their sushi... So much for backed up. So waitress came back and took our orders. I'm staring at the cooking area and seeing all sorts of food from dinners past still present on the griddle. Maybe the cook will clean it before cooking. Another surprising nope. This as well as unclean shrimp bring added to the fray, this will be my last visit here. Just because this place has a history, doesn't mean it's fair to charge high for this underwhelming experience. Barely any show and ignoring the fact of adding someone's leftovers to our meal. How joyous it is to share. Probably the slimmest portions you could get on top of all the rest.
