Benihana

Shout out to Chef Tim. I went to Benihana in another state and didn't enjoy it. This one had great reviews so I had my birthday dinner there. Food was actually good and the chef was entertaining. Will go back

The hibachi chef was entertaining. The food was ok. The waitress was a bit pushy and aggressive when it came time to tip. I was sat near something that was making a god-awful noise. Which was terrible because I already can't hear (HoH), and trying to hear over that noise was impossible. It worsened the experience. One of the chairs was stained with food, which left me to believe the staff didn't clean all that well.

Food and Chef was excellent. The server was new and we had to reach over the hot table for everything. She needs to walk around the table and place everything on table. She grabbed everything with her hand over it. Made it very uncomfortable and didn’t eat the salad or soup because her hand was over it. She was a nice girl but clearly not properly trained to serve. The hostess was horrible as well. Made a reservation for 2:15 then started rushing us and yelling our name outside the door and saying our table was ready at 2:01. I would have scored lower but the cook made up for all of this. He was really good.
