The BEST fattoush salad in town is from Bella Luna! Their chicken shawarma hummus is also my favorite in town-but honestly you can’t go wrong with any of their pasta dishes either. The service here is typically pretty on point, the only reason I give four stars is because our waitress struggled a bit with time management between tables in her section, but she was still very kind. Great place for drinks as well-their dirty bird martini is delicious!
Asked for what they had for larger portions but was plated with about 12 green beans, half a scoop of rice, and a pork chop covered in onions. Wife asked what came with her meal and she asked for no onions but she received onions. My daughter had a kids pizza which was the best part! We let her eat all her pizza and she didn't eat her crust so we ate it! The best pizza crust! Otherwise it wasn't worth it and left hungry. Had bella Luna a few years ago and wasn't impressed and left dissatisfied yet again. Not gonna go for a 3rd strike way too expensive for small plates. Green beans and rice were tasteless according to my wife bit all I tasted were chemicals...
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant and the food was delicious. Probably some of the best Calamari I've had in Kansas. Although when they brought out the food we didn't receive all our food at once. They brought out the first 3 plates and then 5 minutes later they brought out the other 4. Just thought that was odd. Otherwise I plan on coming back.
