Bed-Stuy Fish Fry

Hadn’t been to this place for a while because the food was never up to par. However, my son was treating and I was hungry. So, I went for the Fried Shrimp, Candy Yams and Sweet Corn. What a mistake. The worst Candy Jams and Sweet Corn I’ve ever tasted. The Candy Yams was not sweet, dry, bitter and had zero taste. As for the Sweet Corn, it was drenched in white sauce that was not sweet and had no taste. The order came with no condiments or utensils. Unless I’m starving, I will not spend my money there or give a recommendation to this eatery. People don’t waste your money.

I ordered through Uber eats. Food was terrible. The meatloaf was burnt at the bottom. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and tasted old. The stems were not cut off the greens. It’s a no go.

Based on the reviews posted I was scared to give this place a shot. I ordered through grub hub so I can not speak on the attitudes of the workers. The food arrived faster then expected and was still hot. I ordered the grilled salmon with mac and cheese and collard greens with a small kool-aid. Everything was amazing. The food had flavor and was tasty. I will definitely order from here again.
