Bean Town is a great place to hang out and study or write lesson plans. They have an assortment of delicious baked items that pair well with their teas and coffee. Their smoothies are flavorful but quite sweet. Their sandwiches are good if you are on the go. The staff is friendly but often busy with other orders. We enjoy the decor and the arrangement of seating.
Good coffee and pastries, but what happened to the inviting atmosphere? They used to have comfy furniture and an extremely talented jazz singer who added to the cool, eclectic vibe. Now there’s just stiff tables and chairs, and echoing silence. It has as much appeal as an office break room. Please bring back the character that once had the movie scouts (and the rest of us) seeking this place out.
