My first time there today and was impressed with both the food and the service. Kim, who took my order and took very good care of me, was amazing... great attitude and very positive vibe. The brisket was tender, juicy and flavorful. The pulled pork was very tasty as well. Their BBQ sauce does a good job of complimenting the meat, and isn't overpowering. I tried the baked beans and loved them. I also had the rib meat mac n' cheese, which was quite nice, and a cool twist on the old southern classic. I highly recommend you try this place if you're anywhere near downtown Decatur.

Our first visit here was right around opening week - two years later, we passed through ATL again and the timing was just right for another visit. We were happy to discover that great barbecue was still to be found. I ordered the brisket plate with Brunswick stew and mac-and-cheese studded with smoked rib meat. The brisket was tender, juicy and just smokey enough - I enjoyed it without the sauce, but also had a few bites with sauce just to mix it up a little. The stew had all the flavors Brunswick stew is supposed to have. I'm not usually a mac-and-cheese guy when it comes to bbq sides, but they got me with the rib bits and it was well worth the risk! My wife got the pulled pork sandwich and made the comment that the slaw on the sandwich really made it. I've been following all they do on social media, especially the creative Mexican food collabs, and I was thrilled to find they were serving Tres Leches ice cream the day we went. I’m sooooo happy this showed up on google maps when I looked for a bbq spot in Decatur. When I tell y’all this is the best spot I’ve dined in for a long time, that’s no exaggeration. Everything was amazing & cooked to perfection. Kim greeted us and it was our first time so we weren’t sure what to expect. But she was sooooo sweet & helpful!!! Kim felt like a long lost auntie I never knew I needed haha. We even met Brad who smokes the meats in the back and chatted with him for a bit. He’s very passionate about what he does. Everyone is just so laid back & welcoming. Just a really nice atmosphere, GREAT service & top tier food!!! We will DEFINITELY be back! ????????
