This place is a mood. Bring your appetite. Best chicken I've eaten in a long time. The fried chicken breakfast sandwich was sooooo goooood. French fries were so crisp, just how I like. Not a limp one in sight.

Really delicious fried chicken sandwich. We are very pleased to find this place. Thanks to Google reviews! The floor manager/host was super friendly & kind when we walked in and a bit puzzled being there first time (not knowing where’s the menu to read and how to order (go to the ordering counter)). And the cashier was attentive and guided us what to order with helpful tips. We were visiting sacramento for the weekend and now we all talked when we could come back here to eat more of their fried chicken. It is located in the really nice block with many other restaurants all filled with young people. There were nice & spacious tables inside as well as outside. We gobbled up our food!!! The nicely set up water spigot station by the entrance was great. We could just refill our drinking water glasses without bothering a staff when spiciness of our food required more water. Lots of sauce dripping from my sandwich, but happy to find a clean bathroom to wash all my hands afterward.

This restaurant is just okay. I really wanted to like it here. Pros: Moody decor with self seating. Plenty of room in booths for a plus size customer. Overall the food had some flavor and was delivered quickly. The Mac n cheese was spicy and creamy-delicious. Cons: Hot inside, no AC. You have to order any alcohol beverages separately than your food. Fried chicken was simply but had some flavor. The chicken was saved by the house sauce. The corn bread was horrible. It was old dry and crumbly. The only way I could eat it was the maple butter.
