I visited the DFW area expecting just to find Mexican and bbq cuisine. Boy was I wrong. The service amazing, the head chef came out and spoke to us. This is something that many chefs don’t do and I highly appreciated. The food and drinks were excellent. I would definitely recommend for a family night out or even just to have a nice date night.
One of my favorite new restaurants in dfw. Salmon cake appetizer was delicious. They have a good selection of cocktails and wines by the glass. The butcher burger was full of flavor. Dessert mousse cake also very good. Great atmosphere with open space as well!
Really enjoyed the atmosphere here at Bavette Grill. The staff were incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely glad that we were there. However, what kept this from being a 5* review was unfortunately the taste of my food. I ordered the Ahi Tuna and it was incredibly over salted. I'm never one to send food back, so I didn't...but this one was close. The friendliness of the staff and the relaxed atmosphere will probably bring me back for another try, and I wouldn't steer you away from trying Bavette yourself.
