outstanding dining experience. fresh made pasta and plum tomato sauce , perfectly cooked. I had broccoli Rabe and gigantic shrimp cocktail with it. excellent! I would definitely go back, and probably order the same thing!
The co reviewer and came back to Basta for dinner as we were in the area. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and we sat outside for the evening. Service was good. We tried the La Posta “Laura” drinks and they were as feisty as their namesake!! (Worth trying with whiskey or bourbon instead of vodka) We had the huge tomahawk steak and the chicken Saltimbocca. Both were tasty and served hot. The cheesecake that night was definitely not the same as the ones that have wowed us in the past. It was kind of odd?
Such a classy restaurant. I've been going to Rhode Island for 15 years. I've never been to this park of Cranston. Incredibly adorable. The restaurant was clean, well laid out. The drinks were very fun. The wait staff was very nice. Easy to make substitutions. Very big establishment. Easy access. Nice bathrooms. The food was excellent. Lots of parking. Easy to come in and out of. Looking forward to going back
