Wow! Basanti was really good! It was my first time dining in there. The place was packed when we got there so we had to wait a bit but that was fine. It’s a small place. The smells of the different foods while we waited were amazing! The wait wasn’t long just a few minutes. We ordered an appetizer dish, a lamb dish, and tiki masala. It was all really really good food! I will definitely be going back there again!

I would not recommend anyone to visit this restaurant at all because the staff members AND the owner were very rude and unaccepting. The owner told us that he didn’t care about the review we give and anything we say to him. First we got the wrong food we ordered. Then the spice level was not even asked, so we got a very mild Subji. We talked to the staff and the staff told us “These people ( American) will eat whatever we give.” When we told the owner about this issue, he said it was OUR fault and did not even try to understand our situation at all. This is not a place to spend your money at all. So please do not come here if you don’t want this experience.

LEGIT Indian food in a low key atmosphere. Great experience with a friendly staff and well prepared food served fast. Will be coming back!
