Decided to try out bartaco because it had some of the best prices on 12 South AND it was packed. I’m so glad we found this place! The restaurant was super busy on a Saturday evening, but even without a reservation we were able to snag a seat right away at the bar (full service). The service is amazing, shoutout to Noah and Ari at the bar- they were both very attentive, kind, and efficient. In fact, it was hard not to notice how hard the entire staff was working & zooming from place to place to best serve their customers. We ordered the Ahi Tuna Rice Bowl and the Chicken Rice Bowl, and shared the large kale Cesar salad, all the dishes were great and we were served quickly. The rice bowls are on the smaller side, so if you come hungry, I’d order a couple of tacos too! The vibes are immaculate- the bar hosts a lot of young couples while the tables seated larger groups and even some young families (have a kids menu!). Also, sometimes it’s hard to find a bar with decent non-alcoholic option
Wasn't very impressed to be honest. The food arrives family style and with groups more then two this is not easily sorted at the table. (Especially when you don't know what your tacos look like). If you are a group 2-4 then this place has great vibe and fast service. (the servers were also really great) UPDATED: to add a star for fast response from owners and the food was good.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal today. Our wait time for four was around twenty five minutes. The Palomas were quite enjoyable as well as the spicy margarita. I would recommend the chicken taco, steak taco, and the street corn. When ordering, you had to use your phone which brought up some trouble for the older folks in the group. We did have an issue with the food not meeting our order requests but the staff was able to fix the issue. It did cause one of our party to eat a while after we finished our food. Just have everyone prepared to order together and if there are issues, you can wait for them.
