Barsha

I was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at Barsha, located in an obscure parking lot this hidden gem offers amazingly delicious Tunisian delights. We were greeted by the owner Adnen Marouani, who was so funny and kind. We decided to sit at their outdoor makeshift patio (made during covid, thankfully stuck around to seat more customers and of course makes them dog friendly). The décor and restaurant itself are absolutely beautiful. The location is only a few blocks from the beach and guess what… you don’t have to look or pay for parking! I would suggest coming with a big group of friends and ordering a few items from each of the categories. Ordered Tunisian Bruschetta – Tuna Conserva, chick pea mash, tomatoes, cucumbers, hardboiled egg. Roasted Eggplant – Heirloom tomato, caramelized onion, balsamic, almond Stewed Chickpeas-Meshouia, feta, crusty bread Braised beef cheeks- Slow braised beef cheeks on creamy polenta served with arugula and crispy shallots Hot fudge (probably wrong name)

George took us here. Thank you again George! OMG this place is U Do It Approved! Thank you Barsha for a great meal. From the appetizers to the main course to the desserts. Barsha is a Tunisian restaurant with hip and cool ownership and they love people from Jersey! The staff was super friendly and even took selfies!
