Barrel & Boar Westerville

Update! Amanda invited us back for dinner tonight, and what a difference!! We had a fabulous experience. Amanda is so personable; it's like talking to a friend. All of our food was cooked as expected, and tasted delicious. The pineapple cider was perfect for summer. The sirloin was fantastic, as well as the burger and kids meals. The staff was friendly and helpful, which is great to find in a restaurant. There was live music on the patio this evening, which was a fun addition. I am updating my review to 5 stars! Thank you to Amanda, and our server Kate, for a wonderful dining experience!!! First Review: This was probably one of the most disappointing restaurant visits we've had in a long time. There were four tables in the restaurant. We were seated at a table that still had crumbs on it. We ordered the hush puppy appetizer. The breading was very brown and tasted burnt. We were told by the waitress that it's always that brown. My husband ordered a rack of ribs and they were ice cold. M

This restaurant is in an old theater. Our server Lacey Coe is the best and has a beautiful personality. Her Manager Amanda Clark runs a great establishment. The food is EXCELLENT and the service by Lacy was SUPERB. I strongly recommend this restaurant. They are looking into doing theme nights and is a perfect venue for a dance club or for corporate events. Parking: Parking is a block away and it's free. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
