Baroli Restaurant and GRILL

Waited 2 hours for terrible food and even worse service. The food barely had any meat, no pikliz, and the cup of sauce pois was only partially filled (barely enough for 2 people). Was promised a partial refund, but owner initially refused to honor it. His other customers had to intervene to convince him why it was the right thing to do to honor it. Paid $100 for 3 plates of food that couldn't even feed 5 people. Disappointed and disgusted by the customer service and the unnecessarily long wait for sub par food. There are better Haitian restaurants in the nearby area that will give you more food and better service for less money. Would not recommend.

We visited this restaurant this past weekend and was highly disappointed! Once we were seated we waited over an hour for someone to help us. I asked the hostess who sat us when we would see our server. She apologized and said they were super busy so she proceeded to take our orders. We then waited for another hour for the food. All the while, we NEVER saw a server. The hostess felt so bad and just took care of us from there on. Just terrible. The only positive I’ll say is that although the food is expensive it was good.

I ordered take out last night on the vice of someone that has had the food, particularly the fish. I ordered the grilled fish and it came with mushroom rice and bunon. I gave three stars because while the fish was seasoned and the meal was good. The fish was not the size as seen in photos in other reviews, the fish was much smaller but the price was yet the same. The size did not match the price. I think the overall ambiance could be a vibe, however I ordered take out.
