I was disappointed that their menu says the vegan burger is a homemade veggie patty ($15). It was not. It tasted just like the Dr. Praeger’s frozen patty, sold at $5 for a pack of 4. I asked the server if it was homemade-because it really didn’t taste like it. She asked the kitchen who told her it was a frozen burger. She offered to bring me something different - but it was edible. Barking dog- that is total false advertising on your menu. My boyfriend got the brisket but he said if wasn’t brisket but they actually cooked short rib and the mashed potatoes were ok. Atmosphere and staff are great. But not quality of the food. Too many places to go to in NYC to settle for mediocre! Vegetarian options: Hardly any!
Truffle fries were really nice flavor, a bit on the crispy side for me but still enjoyable. Got short rib. Quite good polenta. Rib was lacking in flavor but was good and tender … More
