Bar Louie - Skokie Holiday Inn North Shore

I haven't been to a Bar Louie for years. So, I was a little sad to see rhey downsized the menu. However the bartender was incredibly friendly and the food was delicious. It's not as great as it once was. However, not bad .

I can’t even comprehend how rude and nasty the staff were at this establishment. We were staying in the hotel the bar was located in and noticed the sign on the door stating they closed at 1am while checking. We arrived at 12:30am and found a male worker cleaning the bar area. We sat down at the bar and he turned and yelled “bars closed” then pointed at the door as he walked away. He didn’t even stop to answer any of our questions. Confused and shocked by the rudeness. We walked to the hotel check in desk to question why there was a sign that stated they closed at 1am. While waiting for the receptionist I walked back to the bar Louie door just to inform them that the sign up still says 1am closing time. A female worker was walking to the front and I explained what the sign says and that it should be taken down as not to confuse customers. I walked out to get the sign and give it to the lady and a different male worker looked me in the face and angrily locked the door as I was attemptin

The best Bar Louie in Chicagoland! They are short staffed like most bar louie’s but they’re nice and fast with good food. Always nice to me and my mom!
