Ordered one beef stew for pick-up through Uber eats and when the app said its ready, I went to the store, only to find out they did not even have the item available and the only staff who can’t speak nor understand English just said “cancel, cancel” to me (which I can’t simply do on Uber eats because I would still get charged) and then completely ignored me. It’s a complete waste of 1 hr in my life to deal with this and then Uber eats. For the restaurant owner - at least have someone who can speak English on-site to handle such situations. And train your employees right. If the items are not available and you know it, DO NOT accept the order in the beginning. Have also had other terrible pick-up experiences just like what the recent comments are saying, so I won’t repeat one more time here. You will lose your customers because of terrible customer experience like this, no matter how good the foods taste, which at the end of the day, are just banh mi and beef stew after all.
First time trying this place, not impressed. Sandwich looked good, but the textures were all wrong, horrible in fact. The bread was very hard, like day old, or 2 day old bread, it was like biting into peanut brittle, ouch! is right, it hurt my gums. Sandwich was ice cold, like it was premade and left in the fridge overnight. The taste was normal, what is to be expected with ordering a combo, I got like 1 slice of a jalapeño which robbed my experience and expectations for a great Vietnamese sandwich. Nothing I will remember here except for uncomfortable experience. I’ll stick to what I know is great!
Slow, waited > 45 mins and the sole employee lost many people’s orders, so they had to retake mine. Maybe 10-15 people just waiting and the receipt printer was not working so no one knew what their order was. The business owner *needs* to hire more staff as the only employee could not communicate to work out the issues and appeared extremely overloaded which made me feel really bad for them. The worst part is that looking at other reviews, the manager is aware of these issues and claims to have fixed them, but this appears performative and does not appear to be true. Could not give 1 star because the food was actually pretty good, it’s just a shame that the rest of the experience will mean I won’t return nor recommend to anyone
