Bandana's Bar-B-Q - O'Fallon

Bandana's was recommended by a friend who lived here 20 years ago. We walked in, It was not busy and Anna was at the register. We were greeted with a warm smile and voice. Anna helped with some choices. While our order was being put together Anna engaged in a nice conversation suggesting places to see here in the area. Food was Great! BBQ Chicken, Ribs, Brisket, and Sausage. Deep fried green beans, most of them didn't make it back home as they were Delicious!! Great Food and great service.

This was our 1st time at this location. My husband and i never really had a bad meal at Bandana's. This was a 1st. We both got the pulled pork, like always. One was lunch portion and the other was a dinner portion. I know the cost for everything went up, so we just about quit dining out. So, the cost was a lot higher but the meat was barely lukewarm and it was fatty. Also, you really couldn't see the difference in the meat portions. It will be a while before we go back and will go to our regular location, if we go at all.

We have eaten here and got carry out at this location many times and it was always good. Today I had ordered a chicken dinner for carry out, only to get home with my order to discover that I had gotten 3 leg and thigh pieces that were so over cooked they were like biting into chicken jerky. Very dry and uneatable. The moisture had been cooked completely out. I was very disappointed and have never received food like this from them before, but not looking to promising for their future. The only edible items were the 2 sides and the cold garlic bread that came with the dinner. It seems today with rising gas prices and food cost, that quality has taken a backseat. $15 not well spent here and probably the last time I visit this location. So upset I should of snapped a pic before I threw it out. BEWARE!!!
