Banana River Cafe

I've lived here for 8 years, and have never been. Boy have I been missing out! For starters, I love the decor. The walls are covered with vintage photos, beach pictures, fishing artwork and quirky things. The atmosphere is really wonderful. The tables aren't too close together which always bothers me in small diners. The service was friendly, and the food came out very quickly. Make sure to check the specials board behind the counter, because that is where the gems are. I had the lemon ricotta pancakesnwurh blueberries and my son had the power bowl. Both were just fabulous. I'm somewhat particular about my pancakes and these were really well made. If you're visiting Satellite Beach, then this is a must-go for breakfast! You'll get the local experience for sure.

Excellent choice for breakfast! The food was so delicious and the prices were amazing for the amount of food you get. Service was great too, our order was right and server was super quick and efficient.

Like a lot of other reviewers this cafe was not on my radar, until we were hungry, on a Sunday morning and the fancy restaurants on the island were all full. This popped up on Google Maps and it is a real diamond in the rough. All my favorite Tex-Mex combinations of breakfast meals are well represented. My favorite is a bowl, with pulled pork, fried egg, black beans, salsa and an avocado along with a biscuit and some hash browns. I'll grab some pictures next time...
