Baires Grill Brickell

Saw the happy hour sign and walked in with the family. We were told that happy hour is only served at the bar and that we could not sit at the bar because we had a baby. We asked if we could order our drinks at the bar and bring them to the table. They declined our request and stated that the sign at the front clearly says that drinks must be had at the bar only. Here is the photo of that sign. It says food must be consumed at the bar, but nothing about drinks. Lies for no reason. Won’t be back here.

It was fine but neither presentation nor quality of food justified exuberant pricing. Place was nice though so I guess what you're paying for is Brickell rent price rather than food quality. But staff was well trained and courteous.

2 stars for inattentive service and not keeping the word. I asked no onions in my $38 branzino (the menu didn’t mention any, I but I asked just in case as have allergy for any kind of onions). When waiter brought my dish he said “no onions as you wished”. I thanked and was so upset to discover onions while eating. Literally I had to spit out from salad as grabbed it with greens. Sauce was a side so I didn’t eat it. I told the waiter he said he too the kitchen several times, but why should I care who said what. The bill came full with no apologies or at least some compliment for inconvenience. Probably they don’t know the consequences of allergy anaphylactic shock and how much the recovery costs. I told admin about the situation - she apologized and told that 2 cups of coffee and desert will be a compliment. The initial bill was $266, the second bill $257 ). Cost of desert is $10 ), not to mention coffee ). The word wasn’t kept and I didn’t argue anymore opting for review. Not
