Bailey's Corner Pub

My sister and I came here for dinner. The dining room was well lit, which, I particularly like because most places where you eat you feel like you're eating in the dark. The waitress was very nice, and had s beautiful smile. I had the southern fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and gravy. All of the food was very good. We got coconut cake to take out. The owners mother made it. Delicious. I will definitely return.

I wanted to like this place. We were excited when we walked in, nice looking little place we didn't know is a few blocks from our house. Our waitress was on it and super nice. Drinks came promptly, as well as refills. But we had to leave after ordering 3 sandwiches and waiting 45 minutes, with no sign of them coming out any time soon. The food did smell great, and other customers who said they waited super long as well, said the food is pretty good. But I don't think we'll be back to try again. This seems like it's an expected experience from what others were saying as I canceled my order to pay for the drinks and go. There was even another table that was struggling to decide if they should also keep waiting, or leave to make it in time to their concert while still hungry. 5+2???? Some friends told us about this establishment. The ambiance and circuses were spectacular for a corner pub. My "creamy Tuscan chicken" was delicious, the chicken was juicy and not overcooked. The grilled vegetables were very tasty and still crunchy. The rice was very tasty also the garlic bread and the side salad were delicious. My wife had the "French onion soup" and a side salad. No alcohol, just soft drinks! The facility is spotless, we walked around to the back of the building, we could see in the kitchen, spotless! Bathrooms were spotless! And, the cakes that are for sale from this location are wonderful! I believe Fernando's Mom, Fernando is the bartender, makes them! We talked a good length about that. Well let me say, his Mom really knows how to throw down making a cake! And I'm sure does well at anything she puts her mind to, but not limited to, the cooking and baking field! ???? Hint, ask for his Mom to make a peach cobbler for purchase!
