First time having Ethiopian food. We had the veggie platter, along with some appetizers and a lamb dish, but my friend didn't enjoy the lamb that much as the meat was a bit tough chew. The Honey Wine was definitely a hit and the lentil samosas were great..The frankincense aroma added to the ambiance. Vegetarian options: Veggie Platter

Came here for the first time and oh my..how did I never hear about Bahel before. Neighborhood not so wonderful, but worth the drive for this tasty treat. We got a combo of vegetarian dishes and a beef stew. It was all so delicious and so flavorful. Service was friendly and the decor is lovely. Will definitely come back.
