There are tons of reviews from users saying Bahel has the best Ethiopian food they've ever had, and I 100% agree! Hands down the BEST I've ever had, and I've had quite a lot at many different restaurants. As with pretty much every Ethiopian restaurant there are lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Unlike most Ethiopian restaurants I didn't have one or two favorites from the vegetarian combo. Every single thing I ate was equally delicious. That's something that's uncommon at any restaurant. Unbelievable! Stop reading this and order some Bahel right NOW! ????????????
Delicious! The food was very fresh and cooked to order. I believe it's a family owned place and it shows in the TLC they provide. My only complaint would be that they don't have any meat and veggie combo plate for those who want a bit of everything. No matter, the food was amazing. Absolutely worth the drive from Gwinnett!
Small scale Ethiopian spot for a cozy ambiance. We wanted to dine in, but Desta (across street) was carry out only. THE BAD: The honey wine tasted different. I always consume Ethiopian, but this honey wine was sweet -- it just tasted like it had a veggie taste infused in it. It didn't taste as rich as I've grown accustomed to. THE GOOD: We ordered for two, & it could've fed 3 or 4. The cabbage, lentils were the best. It came with 3 different cheeses. The Collards we're minced finely, but the flavor was sublime. We even asked for extra injera to take home with us & they obliged. Definitely come back with the kids so they can experience!
