Couldn’t eat the brisket due to it being mostly fat gave me an instant upset feeling to my stomach unfortunately everything else wasn’t great also the max and cheese is not good pretty much left everything but the ribs too much money also 40 dollars including tip not worth it
Went to Badlands on 7/16. Atmosphere was good and restaurant was clean. I ordered the triple threat and my wife had a burger. Didn't take long for the food to arrive. Down side was my pulled pork, brisket, and sweet potato fries were cold. My wife's onion straws were cold. The waitress was apologetic and took my food. She returned in about 5 minutes. I could tell it wasn't fresh food, it was simply reheated. The brisket had areas that were burnt from where they just threw it on the grill and the pulled pork was dry from the second cooking. Now there was no reason for our food to be cold. When I asked to speak with a manager, none was present. I had to speak with another employee about it. I guessing if the food was hot when it arrived it would be good, but reheated food just didn't taste that good. I have 3 stars for the service only.
It's ???????? Good. Now I'm from Texas.. I do my own B.B.Q ing on a big, to large scale sometimes so I could be picky & or Bias on this. I very much enjoyed the sausage. The ribs were fall off the bone. The brisket was TENDER.. The Mac and cheese ???? was ???????? good. The cornbread was good enough for me to want that they served collard greens ???? but NOO. Those sweet potato fries were good but would be better if it were not SOO sweet with the finishing topping. The ???? Lemonade was Texas GOOD. For California yup this place will be around for a while. Go check them out.
