Fantastic in every way. We visited Boston in July and happened upon Bacco one evening. We sat at the Bar and could not have had a a better time. Staff was outstanding and so friendly. The drinks we awesome. I highly recommend having Brian make you a Sazerac. The food was delicious and then some. We will definitely be back next time we are in Boston.

An Italian-American place in the North End, serving classic seafood dishes. The calamari is good - the breading is textbook and the squid has the texture just right. A bit of fried pickled jalapenos and peppers are a great add to the dish as well to keep it interesting. The shrimp scampi is alright. The pasta is a bit past al dente, while the shrimp is so-so, something you can make at home. The sauce also isn't notable. The tomatoes, however, are very well done - cooked just enough to be bursting out of its peel.
