This place is hard to find because it is in between a small mobile home community and some law offices. I really enjoyed the lumpia burger. It had crispy pieces and the patty was good. I'm not sure what meat it was but it was tasty. The fries were generic, nothing special about them. I liked that it was small and family owned. Will most likely return in the future!
This place has been on my radar for a while. It in Carson very often. Now I have a reason to come back. The service was awesome, I respected the request to call ahead and food took about 20 minutes . Had the lumpia burger, and 2 pan de sal sandwhiches. I was showing out for no reason. Burger was unique withe the lumpia patty so had a wonderful crunch. Sandwhiches won me over with the salty spam and that beautiful egg
Overall, I was delightfully surprised at the taste of the food and the extreme friendliness of the staff. Situated in the heart of Downtown Carson, BaBoys only has two designated parking spaces and only allows a few people to be inside the restaurant due to Covid regulations. I ordered the Lumpia Shanghai, Bistek Onion Rings, Sisig Quesadilla, and the Laing Pasta on my first venture here. The Lumpia Shanghai was delicious and has the traditional Filipino flavours of ground pork, onions, carrots and eggs in the filling. The Bistek Onion Rings were too crunch and hard to the point of it being brittle. The diced skirt steak is good though minimal in portion. Sisig Quesadilla is flavourful and not greasy though it can use a bit more cheese. The Laing Pasta had the least amount of flavour. The spaghetti was not overcooked but can definitely use more garlic, ginger, pork belly, parmigiano-reggiano and tomatoes for the added freshness. BaBoy only have about ten items on the menu and hopefully
