The food at this pace was amazing! The flavors were fabulous. The original dishes. It tasted like actual Cuban food. As a vegetarian I thought the "vegetarian friendly" items were going to be boring and basic, but it was a pleasant surprise to see multiple and very unique items in the menu that were vegan and vegetarian friendly. My husband loved his hamburgers and empanadas. The prices are reasonable. The staff was very kind and helpful. Everyone was friendly. On the bad side, the music was extremely loud for a restaurant. If they didn't have the outdoor sitting option we wouldn't have eaten there. It was so loud that the staff was having a hard time listening inside and some even mentioned having headaches. The noise was so intense that you could hear it two stores down the building. Because of the wonderful food and service I'm going to give it 5 stars, if it wasn't for that, I would give it a 4 because the place was louder than a concert.
What an amazing place with fantastic food. The appetizers, drinks and lunch options did not disappoint. The atmosphere was nice and would be great for a date night. We enjoyed all of the sides that came with lunch entrees providing a nice taste of the flavorful food. We will certainly be returning for another meal.
Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of places I like to eat in the lake Norman area but I have been waiting for something like this to truly LOVE. The ambiance, music, food & drinks are amazing. The staff is warm & inviting. On occasions there’s live music it is wonderful, on occasions there’s dance lessons everyone is having so much fun. I’ve tried lots off the menu but my favorites are the empanadas, tostones, the seafood caldo, the amazing branzino & the churros. Shout out to the chef team for the perfectly butchered & cooked branzino. Tender without a single bone. I love churros and these are so soft and fresh, the accompanying sauces were soooo flavorful. My only slight gripe with this spot is service can be a little… disorganized. It can be hard to get someone’s attention (especially if seated at the lounge area) & drink service is sorta slow since there’s usually 1 bartender doing all the drinks for the establishment. I understand the importance of keeping staff slim at newer re
